Boone Park
So Jacksonville being the place it is has a great deal of parks. I'm an introvert that loves to spend time alone, so I figured why not go out with my headphones and camera and enjoy my life a little. So I did. I took a great deal of pictures, so even if it seems like a pic spam it really is a small percentage of the pics...

Anyways this is a taste of historic riverside in jacksonville (one of the rich part of town). This park was very close to my doctor years ago, so I think my parents took me here then. I remember fondly seeing tadpoles in the creek thing that runs thru it as a youth.

I guess my pictures will make the park seem bigger than it is, like its a nature reserve or something, but its really just 2 blocks. Anyways here goes some free advertisement for the city of Jacksonville's parks.

Here is the park sign. I never really paid attention, but
I think the design is pretty cool.

This is a warning to have your dogs leased... it was obviously ignored, lol.

The aforementioned kid's section I frequented.

Shadows at dusk... or whatever...

More scenery

Where the path splits into two, the one you choose is dependent on the fates.

Classic "This is sooo artsy" pic from a camera noob that knows nothing, lol.

Brick entrance to let the lesser peoples know they aren't welcome.

The creek diverges... one to the steet, the other into the wilderness.

I was going for an atmospheric book cover vibe... not sure what I captured tho...

Here is that little bridge again (guess which structure I like in the park).

Nice open field for football, tag, or fetch with your dog.
